Lil Cakes is a boutique cake bakery located in Olympia, Washington specializing in extravagantly designed smash cakes. Born from the need to provide beautiful cakes every year for her own children, owner/creator Leah Ruisenor established Lil Cakes by Leah in 2011, and it quickly took off from there. She starts with a decadent scratch made cake, then covers it with the extravagant flavors of butter, crème, cocoa, and whatever else your mind can think of. What sets these works of art apart from the crowd is the detail taken into the design. She brainstorms with the client to capture every detail, even going as far as to sketch out the final product, ensuring the vision is correctly portrayed. Her design skills, artistry in fondant, and customer service are what brought the customers in through the door and keeps them coming back.
